Encrypted messaging (private and group chats)

Encrypted messaging on Adrenaline Realm facilitates secure, private communication among users for coordinating meetups, sharing detailed build advice, or discussing sensitive topics within the automotive community. All private and group chats utilize end-to-end encryption, ensuring that only the intended participants can read messages; neither the platform nor third parties can access the content.

To start a private chat, navigate to a user’s profile (via search, feed, or comments), tap the message icon, and begin typing. For group chats, access the Messages tab in the bottom navigation bar, tap the “New Group” or “+” icon, select participants from your connections or search, name the group (e.g., “Local Track Day Crew”), and optionally add a group photo or description. Send text, photos, videos, voice notes, or location pins; media remains encrypted in transit and at rest. Features include read receipts, typing indicators, and the ability to reply directly to specific messages for clear threaded conversations. You may mute notifications, pin important chats, or leave groups as needed. To enhance security, enable disappearing messages or review chat export options in settings. This encrypted system supports safe, focused collaboration—whether planning hangouts, exchanging part recommendations, or troubleshooting modifications—while maintaining user privacy.
